Hong Kong is one of these surprising places where you can discover an unexpected interesting building with a charming story hidden behind the street that you cross every day. Do not let these hidden pearls stay in the shadows. Now you can treasure the beauty and history around you thanks to this map where I have marked all Grade I historic buildings of Hong Kong (Well, I have let aside a couple of them, the least impressive and more unreachable ones).

You can find more information about each of them in the wikipedia entry about Grade I historic buildings of Hong Kong. Of course, you can always consult the very complete map of the Geographical Information System on Hong Kong Heritage, also including buildings of grade II, III and other declared monuments, although I find it not very user-friendly. Nevertheless, if you are planning to visit any particular monument or graded building, verify that it is not closed in the Antiquities and Monuments Office website, and check the opening hours of some of them.
